Many noted artists of the 20th century used collage and mixed media to explore new ideas and develop their aesthetic ideal. Acrylic paint is one of the most versatile materials for painting with collage, assembling a montage and integrating found objects. Artists will begin on Saturday experimenting with acrylic and collage techniques and refine their experiments throughout the the weekend.
A few examples of acrylic and mixed media can be viewed here.
